College | Application Process
Depending on the colleges you apply to, applications can be simple including only one step to complete them or be more involved requiring you to complete multiple steps. Regardless of how complex your college applications may be, there are some fundamental principles that remain consistent in every process which can be organized into the following two categories.
#1 COMPLETING COLLEGE APPLICATIONS
Whether you are using the Common Application to apply to colleges or applying directly to them using their own website applications, the student is solely responsible for completing and submitting all of their college applications.
#2 SUBMITTING REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION
In addition to completing and submitting your college applications, colleges will also require additional documentation to complete your application. Every college will require a copy of your official transcript either at the time of your initial application or in May for your final official transcript, while other colleges may also require additional materials like essays, letters of recommendation, or other evaluatory forms or documentation. Therefore, it is essential you have completed a thorough investigation of your college applications and have a clear understanding of their requirements before proceeding through the following help videos to assist you in making these requests.
